minimum(ミニマム)＝最小、最小限、極小。

minimumは年・月・曜日の表記を無くし、日の数字のみで構成したカレンダーです。
印刷には亜鉛凸版という写真製版の技術を応用した、現在では大変希少な印刷方法を採用。
独特の凹凸のある質感を表現しました。
裏面を指で触れば、凹凸から一年という時を感じることが出来ます。
また、裏から光を当てれば、印字部分が透けて数字の色が明るく光って見えます。
さらに日焼けなどの経年変化によって紙が濃くなり見え方も変化していきます。
まずは紙を取り出し、手触りとインクの匂いを感じてください。

For the “Minimum” calendar, it has been stripped of the year, months, and days of the week, leaving only the days of the month.
This calendar has been specially printed using the rare technique of photoengraving.
This creates a wonderfully unique texture on the calendar paper.
By tracing your fingers over the numbers, you can not only see, but feel the passage of time.
And by placing the calendar in front of the light, the numbers will appear to glow as the light shines through.
With age and exposure to sunlight the paper will darken, just another way to enjoy the passing of the seasons.
First, take it out of the package, feel the paper beneath your fingertips, and enjoy the scent of the ink.


[コンセプト]
私は私たちが小さい頃からすでに幾度となく見てきたカレンダーの概念を覆すような、そんなこれまでにない新しいカレンダーを作ることを目指しています。

それゆえ、決して実用向きではなく、部屋に飾って鑑賞するための、言わば「セカンドカレンダー」（私の造語）という在り方が私の作るカレンダーの立ち位置であると考えています。バッグにセカンドバッグというものが在るように、カレンダーにもメインで使用するものではないセカンドカレンダーというものが在っても良いのではないか、と。

私のクリエイションの原動力は「驚かせたい」という気持ちです。このカレンダーがあなたの驚きになり得たのなら幸いです。

[Calendar Concept]
We all have a certain image of what a calendar is. We’ve learned it through years of looking at the same calendar again and again.
But what if we turned the traditional calendar on its head?
What if we played with our view of the passage of time?
I hope to create calendars that do just that. There are enough “useful” calendars out there.That’s not what mine are meant for. Rather, I hope they will be something to put up like a piece of art and enjoy.
Something there to remind you to reframe the mundane and the ordinary.
Just like you have different bags for different occasions,I say why not have different calendars for a fresh view of life?
I hope these calendars will surprise and inspire you to step outside the box!
